YIN FOR BALANCING YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM
Reclaim Your Inner Calm in a Chaotic World

DISCOVER YOUR UNIQUE NERVOUS SYSTEM PATTERN
When was the last time you truly took a moment for yourself? Not squeezing in self-care between meetings or family responsibilities, but genuinely prioritising your wellbeing?
In our constantly-connected world, your nervous system rarely gets a chance to reset. The result? That persistent feeling of being wired but tired, digestive issues that seem to come from nowhere, and lying awake at night despite physical exhaustion.
It's not your fault. Modern life wasn't designed for nervous system health.
This practice supports:
- Stress resilience and recovery
- Nervous system regulation
- Body awareness and interoception
- Sustainable energy management
- Improved sleep patterns
- Practical Polyvagal tools for everyday life
What to Expect
Each 60-minute session offers a sanctuary in your busy week, guided by principles from polyvagal theory and modern neuroscience. The practice is designed to help you begin understanding your unique nervous system patterns.
Sessions begin with a 5-10 minute mobilising practice to help you settle in, followed by yin shapes held for 3-5 minutes each for the remainder of the session. This transition helps prepare your body and mind for deeper rest.
This is not about achieving perfect posture or reaching some destination. There is no "right way" to practice. It's simply a space to explore, listen to your body, and begin getting to know your own unique nervous system.
What makes this approach different:
- Focus on feeling rather than achieving "perfect" alignment
- Emphasis on personal autonomy and choice
- Integration of neuroscience and practical applications
- Modifications offered for all bodies and experience levels
- Take-home Polyvagal practices that fit into your actual life
